This week, the students in grade six had the opportunity to create a brief keynote presentation to teach their classmates about a specific land or aquatic biome. We learned that there aren't many trees in the tundra, tropical rain forests get up to 600cm of rain a year, and estuaries are where rivers flow into the ocean and salt and fresh water mix. Now that the students are aware of the different biomes on earth, we will start to explore the amazing ways organisms adapt to the biomes they live in.
The students were excited to use their laptops to create their presentations. We used the interactive projector to share the finished products.
