I hope you and your families all had a wonderful Family Day weekend!
Looking ahead to the next several weeks, I wanted to let you all know about some important dates.
All three grade six classes will have a math test about ratio and percent (Chapter 6 in the math textbook) on Thursday, February 19th. This gives the students a couple of days to review after they get home from the Shabbaton weekend.
All three grade six classes will have a science test about current electricity (Section 4.3 and all of Chapter 5 in the science textbook) on Monday, February 23rd. I wanted to ensure that the students would have these two important tests during separate weeks. We have already been reviewing some of the principles of current electricity in class today.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, February 26th and Friday, February 27th. I look forward to meeting with each of you to discuss your child's progress in second term! As always, please contact me with any questions or concerns.
